Alan John Watson, Baron Watson of Richmond, CBE is a UK-based broadcaster, Liberal Democrat politician and leadership communications consultant. He was educated at the Diocesan College, Cape Town in South Africa and Kingswood School in Bath. An Open Scholar in history at Jesus College, Cambridge 1959, he was awarded an MA in 1963. Lord Watson
was the Vice-President of the Cambridge Union.
His wife, Karen, is a German-born artist.

“Sir Winston Churchill has died at the age of 90 with his wife Lady Clementine Churchill and other members of the family at his bedside.  He suffered a stroke 15 days ago and gradually slipped into a deep sleep from which he never awakened. Sir Winston died in his London home at Hyde Park Gate.
